Breast Surgery Patients
Your plastic or general surgeon has referred you to this site to find more information about your future surgery.
There are some basic considerations you should address as you consider any surgery. 1. Is your plastic surgeon board certified? Board certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery is a critical tool to show that your plastic surgeon has met the technical and ethical requirements for providing you the best result.
2. Have they addressed all of the options for your surgery?
For breast reduction that includes the new short scar vertical breast reduction. For breast reconstruction that includes using your own tissue (a pedicled TRAM) or the newer microsurgical techniques (find out more about those here).
Your surgeon should discuss all of your reconstructive options to create the best plan for you.
For additional information you can also see our 3D procedure animations. If you have questions contact our office at (925) 875-0700, we're just a phone call away!
